2022 was a year of getting back into the swing of things after the past few years of unpredictability. Through it all, we have managed to stay together as a community and Rottermond Jewelers is honored to be able to serve a number of charities close to our hearts that do so many phenomenal things for the less advantaged in our area. Between community actions, supporting incredible nonprofits and organizations that truly care, and always putting their best foot forward, Rottermond is committed to making sure we make an impact on the places our jewelry stores are situated in. Through consistently working with nonprofits best suited to face the problems they recognize need attention, Rottermond puts our heart forward by always looking out for our neighbors.
Why Rottermond Cares
Dean Rottermond has always had a vision for an exceptional jewelry store that is an important part of the community. After years of hard work between Cindi and himself, the luxurious showrooms of Rottermond Jewelers’ two locations in Milford and Brighton remain dignified institutions within each town. A focus on positively impacting our communities has remained one of our driving goals. During 2022, we were able to raise over $30,000 to donate to important charities that foster positive changes for those less fortunate. That brings the total amount of money that Rottermond has raised and donated for its communities between 2005 to 2022 to $526,927. This money has been raised in partnership with several incredible organizations such as:
Along with this long list of organizations, Rottermond Jewelers also commonly recognizes incredible people within the community, from COVID-19 nurses to education leaders. Our goal is to always promote the good in the community so that everyone has a chance for better opportunities. We enjoy seeing our community do incredible things to better these places that we call home.
Dedicated to Milford and Brighton
With family ever on his mind, Dean Rottermond first returned to Milford to open a shop because he loved the sense of community, small town values, and being close to family as his parents lived in the small village. Between Dean and Cindi, along with a lot of hard work from the rest of our team members, the legacy of Rottermond has grown and blossomed in both Milford and Brighton over the past 35 years. It brings us great pride that the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce voted us "Business of the Year" for our continued community involvement, and that we were voted Best Jewelry Store in All of Metro Detroit by WXYZ – Top 7 during 2020. We are always looking to showcase the best for Michigan to purchase from our stores, and our values will always extend towards helping those in need in our communities as well. We always have a donation option on our website for those who would like to give at any time besides during our fundraisers.
