Gold Party Fundraiser Q&A

Q:  How does this work?
A: Your guests bring their one time treasures to the party, we’ll pay them the top dollar value in cash, and we’ll issue your organization a check for an extra 10% of the total amount.  For example, if your guests bring in $10,000 in gold, we’ll issue your organization a check for $1,000.

Q: Does my organization qualify for this?
A: Rottermond Jewelers performs this function for any organization which seeks to raise funds.  This includes everything from a 501(c)3 charitable organization to a high school sports team.

Q: I’ve been invited to gold parties before – is this the same thing?
A:  No!  Most home gold parties are illegal – these parties are often operated by unregistered gold buyers who fail to comply with local, state, and federal laws that regulate the purchasing of gold and other metals. Rottermond Jewelers is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws that regulate the purchase of gold and other metals.  We have operated a retail storefront in Downtown Milford for over 20 years and have earned the trust of our thousands of clients.  You can be assured that Rottermond Jewelers pays top dollar – and we’ll be here tomorrow!

Q: What else do you buy?
A: We also pay top dollar for platinum jewelry, silver jewelry, gold coins, silver coins, rare numismatic coins, proof sets, mechanical wrist watches, all pocket watches, sterling silver flatware, and more!

Q: What about my diamond ring  – will you buy the diamonds too or do I get them back?
A: We do buy high-quality diamonds that are one carat and larger. If you have smaller diamonds mounted in your jewelry, we can remove those diamonds and return them to you.  In some cases, depending on the amount of labor involved, there is  a charge for this service.

Q: What’s the minimum and maximum group size?
A: We can accommodate groups as small as ten.  There is no maximum number of guests that we can accommodate!

Q: Can I have the party in my home?
A: Typically, the party will be held at Rottermond Jewelers in Milford or Brighton.  We can sometimes accommodate requests for off-site events.
